Last night I henna'ed my belly. I went to get her this morning with my shirt on. She saw the henna right away. "Mama!! What's that?!? You draw on yourself??" Yes, mama drew on herself, it's Henna. "Mama, you henna the baby?? Where's Josie's henna?" I said Josie doesn't have henna. "hmmm, maybe daddy has Josie's henna"
Today she also asked while pointing to a stretch mark, "Mama, you cut yourself?"
She has a doll that gives birth to a baby, complete with placenta and cord that is detachable. I've tried to explain it to her. She gets confused by it sometimes.
She informed me the baby comes out of the mama's butt. Then told me my baby would come out my butt... Then told me I have a green butt... Uhm I hope not on both accounts!
I have asked her if she would like to help cut the cord for her baby brother to help make his belly button. I've showed her on the doll's baby and how the cord will get cut off.
While eating dinner one night out of the blue she turns to daddy and says, "Daddy, you help me cut cord off my baby brother?" Curt doesn't even want to see or cut it himself sputtered, uhm what?! and was all flustered. I suggested maybe mommy could help her cut the cord.
Josie will sweetly talk to the baby, placing her hands on my belly. She says Hello baby brother, I'm your big sister, Josie! I love you baby brother!

Story Time
Josie is in love with bedtime storytime! If I'm having a hard time getting her back to her bed I'll announce it's storytime and she'll run back there.
We make up stories and Josie normally chimes in with parts that should be included. Me and Curt take turns telling the stories and putting her to bed each night.
The stories start out the same way....Once upon a time in a land far far away (then Josie chimes in PRINCESS JOSIE!) and we reply there was a princess named Josephine. And she'll help tell the rest of the beginning making sure that mommy and daddy are in the story along with Mia (our dog) and Cal and Dare (her horses she shows). Sometimes she'll request Carebears in it as well or other things like flying horses, kitties or clowns.
Stories always end with the princess being put to sleep and her parent telling her a story, josie laying on her pillow, closing her eyes and falling asleep (with no crying). Then I'll normally say she is supposed to be like Princess Josephine, so she'll lay down and shut her eyes hard with a big grin.

Stinker Josie, knockers and the princess
Josie likes to watch vcr tapes of things like Dora or Blue's Clues, etc. Normally big preggo mommy is too lazy to get up and stop/rewind the tape. I just let it go to the end, then start to rewind itself, then pops itself out when done rewinding.
Josie knows to make it play all you then have to do is push the tape back in (since we watch the tv through the dvd/vcr player). So she'll push it in, start hysterically giggling and grinning and announce "STINKER JOSIE!!!" Then squeel and run around the room.
She has done this one for a while, but i don't think i've posted it before. My daughter has a pair of knockers....at least that's what she calls them. It gets great laughs when she refers to them. She is talking about her play pair of Binoculars.
She was playing at a playland. It was later in the evening and there were not any other kids there. A family showed up with a girl about 4?5? who was wearing pink and had long blonde hair. Josie ran around chasing after her saying"Come here Princess", "Let's play Princess". I think the other little girl thought Josie must have been nuts from the looks she was giving Josie. The little girl's name was Cameron, not Princess, but Josie must have thought she looked close enough to a princess!
