Homemade Soda pop and Josie's sayings

Tonight at the SCA meeting we learned to make homemade soda pop! YUM! It was very easy to do. I made root beer. Others made Honey Wheat, Sassafrass, Vanilla pop, and others I don't remember.

So besides Josie liking to kiss my butt the other day here are some more things she's been doing lately that will make you giggle:

Josie was kissing me, then dh, then me. I went into the kitchen to start dinner and she followed me and decided to kiss my butt. Then she wouldn't stop kissing my butt. Me and dh were laughing hard at her and of course it just made her kiss my butt more.I told dh it's so going in her baby book. He said oh yeah, and when she gets boyfriends we can tell them exactly where josie's lips have been!

I hear husband say - Josie go ask mommy where it is....Josie come's into the room i'm in and says "mommy, where's cock"? I can't even stop laughing to answer her. My husband came in and tells josie her play cLock is in the living room.

So i'm in the computer room trying to clean and organize it. I go out to see what josie's doing.... Aparently she thought Mia (the dog) was hungry, because she found a cup o soup packet and opened it for her spilling a bunch over the gate... How thoughtful of her.

Saying Sorry: Today when I asked Josie to "Say sorry, please". She said. "sorry, please".

Grocery Shopping: Josie and I were grocery shopping one day in Walmart. She was sitting in the seat and I was pushing the cart like normal. She reaches out, squeezes both my breast and yells out loud, "Boobies."

When asking Josie is she would like a baby brother or sister she responds, "No, just Josie for now"

Full Day of FUN!

We packed in the free Halloween events yesterday for Josie. She had a blast! We started off at Meijers that were having a costume contest, handing out candy and supposivly something else. However we discovered it was like 4 tables spread out in there with candy and a costume contest. Nice thing was for the contest, they took a picture and would judge later. So we were in and out quickly. My daughter is great! She could have an apple and candy at one table and she went nuts over the APPLE! YEA!!

Next place was the family center party. WOW We had to wait in the cold just to get in, then it was so packed you couldn't really enjoy it much. She did get a free pumpkin and got to decorate it though. She got a free lunch and a cute stuffed bunny and baby bunny. We got out of there quick because she wanted to run and it was horrid keeping her with us.

Back home for a nap and dinner.

Our town's trick or treating was 6-7pm. We took her to the part that we knew had kiddos and went trick or treating there. She had a blast! Did a wonderful job and said trick or treat, then thank you every time. The people said she was adorable! :) I'll have to put some pictures. Her costume needs cleaned because at the second party she had hot dog and iced cupcake and got it every where. This week is full or events!

Fitting in

I always feel like I never fit in anywhere. It's quite frustrating. Even online I have a hard time connecting with people. I'll see others talk to eachother and make connections, but it just never happens with me.

In person is even more difficult. It doesn't help I live in a tiny town and the town I go to for playgroups is filled with preppie moms. I know they think I'm the wierd one. That doesn't bother me. I know I'm far wierder than any of them! :lol I just want to be able to have a conversation with them at times though. I try to start and they will walk away or whatever.

Most of my friends now are in the SCA. I think we have a common bond that most of us are the odd one's out and don't quite fit in. So that is nice to have them.

So moving!

I'm horrible at linking things so you just can view them from my own blog. I just had to share this fellow hypnobabies mama though. She's singing through her contractions. The beautiful voice and the adoring looks between her and her partner and just inspiring.

Finding my way

I hate that I've felt so lost for so long. I feel even more lost now. This is not how I dreamed or imagined my life would ever be.

I love my daughter with all my heart and she is such a wonderful blessing in my life. I've always dreamed I would have a bunch of children.

I'm now pregnant with a second, but due to the things that have occured with my husband, i'm sorry to say, i'm not overjoyed about being pregnant. I want to be happy, but words my husband said to me and about this baby keep coming back to my mind.

I feel so stuck, in my marriage, in my home, in my life. Essentially that is my own fault because the only one who can get me unstuck is really myself. Yes money issues are having a toll, but really they are not what's keeping me stuck, I am.

I would hate to be on my deathbed feeling what I feel now.

Art makes me feel alive. Makes me feel like I have a reason in life. The SCA is a fuel for that art. My husband doesn't understand it. He resents the SCA because it takes me away from him.

I've been doing less art and less with the SCA. I am starting to go back to my feeling that I've lost myself again. I was finally feeling like I found me when I was involved in the SCA. Now due to not having money I've chosen to not renue my membership, which means I can not hold offices. I currently hold 2 offices as webmaster and chronicler. It also means if I go to events it will cost me more money. So I'm sure I won't be going to many events now either. But not going to events means less gas used, less money on food when I'm there and many other things.

I need to find myself again.
